Poland's Central Bank Cuts Rates by 25bps, as Expected
BY MT Newswires | ECONOMIC | 01:43 PM EST01:43 PM EST, 03/04/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Poland's central bank (NBP) said its Monetary Policy Council decided to cut rates by 25 basis points on Wednesday, as expected.
The Council decided that the NBP interest rates as of Thursday will be at the following levels:
-- reference rate at 3.75% on an annual basis;
-- lombard rate at 4.25% on an annual basis;
-- deposit rate at 3.25% on an annual basis;
-- rediscount rate at 3.80% on an annual basis;
-- discount rate on bills of exchange at 3.85% on an annual basis.
