01:27 PM EST, 02/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Financial stocks were advancing in Tuesday afternoon trading, with the NYSE Financial Index increasing 0.2% and the State Street Financial Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLF) ahead 0.5%.

The Philadelphia Housing Index was adding 0.3%, and the State Street Real Estate Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLRE) rose 0.3%.

Bitcoin (BTC-USD) was declining 0.6% to $64,321, and the yield for 10-year US Treasuries was slightly higher at 4.04%.

In corporate news, Carlyle (CG) shares rose 2.9%. The company's stock should re-rate higher as its distributable earnings growth track is gaining momentum, RBC Capital Markets said in a report. RBC has a price target of $67 on the company.
