03:25 PM EST, 01/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Financial stocks were advancing in late Thursday afternoon trading, with the NYSE Financial Index rising 0.6% and the State Street Financial Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLF) adding 0.3%.

The Philadelphia Housing Index was up 0.9%, and the State Street Real Estate Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLRE) rose 0.7%.

Bitcoin (BTC-USD) was declining 1.5% to $95,522, and the yield for 10-year US Treasuries rose 2 basis points to 4.16%.

In corporate news, SelectQuote (SLQT) shares jumped past 7% after it said Thursday it signed a new multi-year agreement between its SelectRx pharmacy and a long-time pharmacy benefit manager partner, improving reimbursement visibility and financial stability.
