01:27 PM EST, 12/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Financial stocks were decreasing in Monday afternoon trading, with the NYSE Financial Index and the State Street Financial Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLF) each shedding about 0.5%.

The Philadelphia Housing Index fell 0.8%, while the State Street Real Estate Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLRE) rose 0.2%.

Bitcoin (BTC-USD) was up 0.2% at $87,719, and the yield for 10-year US Treasuries was shedding 2 basis points to 4.11%.

In corporate news, DigitalBridge (DBRG/PJ) will be acquired by SoftBank in a deal worth about $4 billion, as the Japanese investment giant looks to develop its data center and connectivity capacity for AI infrastructure. DigitalBridge (DBRG/PJ) jumped past 9%.
