BOJ must take into account Japan's low real rates in setting policy, governor Ueda says
BY Reuters | ECONOMIC | 04/16/26 07:54 PM EDTWASHINGTON, April 16 (Reuters) - Bank of Japan Governor Kazuo Ueda said on Thursday the central bank must take into account the fact that Japan's real interest rate is low, when deciding how soon to raise interest rates.
