03:29 PM EDT, 08/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Financial stocks declined in late Thursday afternoon trading, with the NYSE Financial Index shedding 0.6% and the Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF) down 0.4%.

The Philadelphia Housing Index fell 0.3%, and the Real Estate Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLRE) dropped 0.5%.

Bitcoin (BTC-USD) added 0.9% to $112,298, and the yield for 10-year US Treasuries fell 3 basis points to 4.21%.

In corporate news, TransUnion (TRU) said the personal information of about 4.5 million customers was compromised in a data breach on July 28, according to a filing with the office of Maine's attorney general. TransUnion (TRU) shares were rising 0.2%.
