The bank had announced on Thursday it would offer up to $1 billion in the spot auction and 20,000 contracts in the reverse swap operation, which is equivalent to buying U.S. dollars in the futures market. (Reporting by Gabriel Araujo and Fabricio de Castro; Editing by Toby Chopra)
