Sector Update: Health Care Stocks Fall Premarket Thursday

09:17 AM EDT, 03/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Health care stocks were falling premarket Thursday, with the State Street Health Care Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLV) down 0.5% and the iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) 0.9% lower.

Indivior (INDV) shares were down nearly 6% after the company said it plans a $400 million private offering of convertible senior unsecured notes due March 15, 2031.

Gyre Therapeutics (GYRE) stock was down more than 6% after the company reported that it swung to a Q4 net loss.

Pulse Biosciences (PLSE) said it has enrolled the first patients in its first-in-human feasibility study of the nPulse Vybrance Percutaneous Electrode System to treat T1N0M0 papillary thyroid microcarcinoma. Shares of Pulse Biosciences (PLSE) were 2% lower pre-bell.
