03:22 PM EST, 02/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Financial stocks rose in late Tuesday afternoon trading, with the NYSE Financial Index increasing 0.2% and the State Street Financial Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLF) ahead 0.4%.

The Philadelphia Housing Index was fractionally higher, and the State Street Real Estate Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLRE) rose 0.3%.

Bitcoin (BTC-USD) was declining 0.2% to $64,528, and the yield for 10-year US Treasuries was slightly higher at 4.03%.

In corporate news, Marsh & McLennan (MRSH) is exploring the sale of its Private Client Services division, which offers financial risk management and life insurance services for high-net-worth individuals in Asia, Bloomberg reported. Marsh & McLennan (MRSH) shares added 0.3%.
