Wall St gains after stronger-than-expected jobs report
BY Reuters | ECONOMIC | 02/11/26 09:34 AM ESTFeb 11 (Reuters) - Wall Street's main indexes ?opened higher on ?Wednesday following a ?stronger-than-expected jobs data ?that pointed ?to ?a resilient U.S. economy, ?while ?the unemployment rate ticked lower ?for ?January.
The ?Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 55.0 points, ?or 0.11%, ?to 50,243.15 at the open. The S&P ?500 ?rose 34.7 ?points, or ?0.50%, to 6,976.48, while the Nasdaq Composite rose 175.8 points, or ?0.76%, to 23,278.29.
