Japan December factory output falls 0.1% month-on-month

TOKYO, Jan 30 (Reuters) - Japan's factory output edged down ?0.1% in ?December from ?the previous ?month, ?better than the median ?market ?forecast for a 0.4% ?dip, ?government ?data showed on Friday.

Manufacturers surveyed by ?the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry ?expect ?seasonally adjusted output ?to jump 9.3% in January and fall 4.3% in ?February. (Reporting by Satoshi Sugiyama; Editing ?by Chris Reese)
