Microsoft (MSFT) , McKinsey, and other US companies are each putting up as much as $1 million to sponsor a venue to host government officials in Davos, Switzerland, during President Donald Trump's visit to the World Economic Forum, The Financial Times reported Monday.

Cryptocurrency firm Ripple has agreed to be a sponsor, while JPMorgan Chase (JPM) has also been approached for the same, the report noted, citing people familiar with the matter.

JP Morgan and Microsoft (MSFT) declined to comment, while McKinsey and Ripple did not immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
