Greek unemployment drops to 8.2% in November

Jan 2 (Reuters) - Greece's jobless rate stood at 8.2% in November, ?down from ?8.6% in October, ?data from ?statistics service ?ELSTAT showed on Friday.

Seasonally ?adjusted ?data showed 395,436 people were officially ?unemployed.

Unemployment ?impacted ?women more than men, at the ?rates of 10.6% and 6.3%, respectively.

The jobless rate for ?young ?people aged 15 to ?24 years dropped to 16.6% in November from 21.2% in the same ?month in 2024, ELSTAT said. (Reporting by Antonis ?Pothitos in Gdansk)
