India's central bank governor signals rates to stay low for 'long period', FT says
BY Reuters | ECONOMIC | 12/16/25 09:13 PM ESTDec 17 (Reuters) - India's central bank governor Sanjay Malhotra expects the country's interest rates to remain low for a "long period", he told the Financial Times in an interview published on Wednesday.
The Reserve Bank of India's projections suggested rates "should remain low for a long period of time", Malhotra told the FT.
