01:36 PM EST, 12/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Financial stocks were lower in Tuesday afternoon trading, with the NYSE Financial Index shedding 0.9% and the State Street Financial Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLF) down 0.7%.

The Philadelphia Housing Index was falling 1.1%, and the State Street Real Estate Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLRE) was down 0.7%.

Bitcoin (BTC-USD) was increasing 2.7% to $87,707, and the yield for 10-year US Treasuries was shedding 2.1 basis points to 4.16%.

In corporate news, JPMorgan Chase (JPM) and lending platform Slope have formed a partnership with Amazon.com (AMZN) to allow eligible Amazon sellers to access capital via a reusable credit line backed by a JPMorgan (JPM) credit facility, CNBC reported. JPMorgan (JPM) shares were down 1.3%.
