-- Foreign exchange majors rangebound, 10-year United States Treasuries steady at 4.15% after drop to 4.10% on Thursday on spike in weekly jobless claims. S&P 500 closed at a record high (6,901) on rotation from tech to value stocks. Treasury auction decent: stop through 0.3bp, non-dealer bidding 88.8%, bid-cover ratio of 2.36 times. Indian rupee (INR) slips to a fresh record low of 90.56/USD, Reserve Bank of India reportedly intervenes in the onshore market.

-- The United Kingdom October gross domestic product contracts 0.1% month over month, drops 0.1% three-month/over/three-month, below forecast. Services -0.3%, manufacturing 0.5%, construction -0.6%. Trade deficit widens to 22.5 billion pounds.

-- Day ahead: Federal Reserve speakers Paulson, Hammack and Goolsbee. India's consumer price index.
