01:22 PM EST, 12/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Financial stocks were advancing in Thursday afternoon trading, with the NYSE Financial Index rising 1.5% and the State Street Financial Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLF) adding 1.7%.

The Philadelphia Housing Index increased 0.8%, and the State Street Real Estate Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLRE) was up 0.4%.

Bitcoin (BTC-USD) was falling 2% to $90,423, and the yield for 10-year US Treasuries dropped 4.4 basis points to 4.12%.

In corporate news, Goldman Sachs (GS) Alternatives led a $200 million funding round for AI software development startup Harness, valuing the company at $5.5 billion, Harness said. Goldman shares were up 2.2%.
