12:35 PM EST, 12/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- KP Tissue (KPTSF) on Wednesday said Kruger Products Inc (KPI) closed an offering of senior unsecured notes.

The company said that KPI issued C$165 million principal amount of 6.250% senior unsecured notes due Dec.10, 2032 by way of private placement.

The company said a portion of the proceeds of the offering was used to fund the repayment in full of the borrowings outstanding under the senior credit facilities of Kruger Products SB Inc (KPSB).

KPI plans to use the balance of the net proceeds of the offering for general corporate purposes.

The company said that, in connection with the offering, KPI's syndicated credit agreement was amended and restated to, among other things, increase the facility amount from C$230 million to C$250 million, increase the accordion feature from C$75 million to C$100 million and add KPSB as a restricted credit party.

KP Tissue (KPTSF) shares were last seen unchanged at $10.44 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

In general the bond market is volatile, and fixed income securities carry interest rate risk. (As interest rates rise, bond prices usually fall, and vice versa. This effect is usually more pronounced for longer-term securities.) Fixed income securities also carry inflation risk and credit and default risks for both issuers and counterparties. Unlike individual bonds, most bond funds do not have a maturity date, so avoiding losses caused by price volatility by holding them until maturity is not possible.

Lower-quality debt securities generally offer higher yields, but also involve greater risk of default or price changes due to potential changes in the credit quality of the issuer. Any fixed income security sold or redeemed prior to maturity may be subject to loss.
