Sector Update: Financial Stocks Rise in Afternoon Trading

The Philadelphia Housing Index was 0.1% lower, and the Real Estate Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLRE) rose 0.3%.
Bitcoin (BTC-USD) was declining 3.4% to $89,266, and the yield for 10-year US Treasuries rose 4 basis points to 4.14%.

UBS (UBS) may avoid a hefty capital increase after the Swiss government signaled it could ease parts of a proposed regulation that might have forced the bank to raise up to $24 billion in additional capital, Reuters reported. UBS shares gained 4.8%.
KKR (KKR) is in talks to acquire private-equity firm Arctos Partners, the Financial Times reported. Separately, KKR has agreed to invest in a portion of Compass Datacenters' operating and future assets, Bloomberg reported. The deal is expected to raise several billion dollars, the Bloomberg report said. KKR shares rose 1.3%.
