01:28 PM EST, 11/25/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Financial stocks were advancing in Tuesday afternoon trading, with the NYSE Financial Index rising 1.3% and the Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF) adding 1.2%.

The Philadelphia Housing Index was climbing 3.8%, and the Real Estate Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLRE) was increasing 1.1%.

Bitcoin (BTC-USD) was declining 0.7% to $87,685, and the yield for 10-year US Treasuries was dropping 5 basis points to 3.99%.

In corporate news, BlackRock (BLK) is looking to boost its investments in the Middle East over the next few years, particularly in Saudi Arabia, Bloomberg reported. The asset management giant has already invested more than $35 billion in Saudi equities, fixed income and infrastructure, and now has four investment teams in the Saudi capital Riyadh, Bloomberg reported, citing Kashif Riaz, the head of BlackRock's (BLK) Financial Markets Advisory business in the Middle East, and its Riyadh-based investment management platform. BlackRock (BLK) shares rose 1%.
