Wall Street Futures Advance Premarket Buoyed by Nvidia's Fiscal Q3 Beat as Investors Await September Jobs Report
BY MT Newswires | ECONOMIC | 11/20/25 06:26 AM EST06:26 AM EST, 11/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Wall Street futures advanced in premarket hours Thursday as Nvidia's (NVDA) fiscal Q3 earnings beat lifted market sentiments, while investors await the release of the delayed September jobs report.
The S&P 500 was up 1.2%; the Dow Jones was 0.6% higher; and the Nasdaq was advancing by 1.6% in recent pre-bell activity.
Asian markets mostly closed Thursday in the green, while major European bourses were tracking higher midday.
Early movers include Nvidia, with shares up more than 5% after the company posted higher fiscal Q3 adjusted earnings and revenue, and issued fiscal Q4 revenue outlook above market expectations.
Shares of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSM) were also up more than 2% in recent premarket hours following a Reuters report on delays to US President Trump's planned semiconductor tariffs.
Meanwhile, Walmart (WMT), Intuit (INTU), and NetEase (NTES) are set to report quarterly results within the day.
On the economic calendar is the delayed September US Jobs Report, the Philadelphia Fed Manufacturing Index at 8:30 am ET, the EIA Natural Gas Report at 10:30 am ET, and the Fed Balance Sheet at 4:30 pm ET.
In pre-market hours, Bitcoin traded at $91,657; West Texas Intermediate crude oil traded higher at $60.04; 10-year US Treasuries offered 4.14%; and gold traded for $4,056 an ounce.
