01:28 PM EST, 11/19/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Financial stocks were mixed in Wednesday afternoon trading, with the NYSE Financial Index decreasing 0.1% and the Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF) adding 0.3%.

The Philadelphia Housing Index was fractionally down, and the Real Estate Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLRE) was shedding 0.5%.

Bitcoin (BTC-USD) was falling 4.5% to $89,203, and the yield for 10-year US Treasuries was decreasing 1 basis point to 4.11%.

In corporate news, Brookfield Asset Management (BAM) is targeting $10 billion in equity for a new fund aimed at investing in infrastructure tied to AI, The Wall Street Journal reported. Brookfield shares rose 1%.
