01:14 PM EDT, 10/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Financial stocks were decreasing in Tuesday afternoon trading, with the NYSE Financial Index falling 0.3% and the Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF) easing 0.4%.

The Philadelphia Housing Index declined 0.3%, and the Real Estate Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLRE) was falling 1.9%.

Bitcoin (BTC-USD) was increasing 1.1% to $115,415, and the yield for 10-year US Treasuries was shedding 1.4 basis points to 3.98%.

In corporate news, PayPal (PYPL) lifted its full-year earnings outlook on Tuesday, while the payments processor announced a partnership with Microsoft-backed (MSFT) OpenAI to integrate its payment system within ChatGPT. PayPal (PYPL) shares rose 8.6%.
