Morgan Stanley Sees Bank of Japan on Hold This Week

09:45 AM EDT, 10/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Morgan Stanley said it expects the Bank of Japan to remain on hold with a 7-2 decision.

The BoJ is scheduled to release its policy statement at 10:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday

Morgan Stanley noted its would like to see whether the governor's cautious view on the United States economy begins to soften, as the bank assesses the possibility of a rate hike in December.
