01:35 PM EDT, 10/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Financial stocks edged higher in Thursday afternoon trading, with the NYSE Financial Index fractionally higher and the Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF) adding 0.2%.

The Philadelphia Housing Index rose 0.5%, and the Real Estate Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLRE) declined 0.4%.

Bitcoin (BTC-USD) was increasing 1.9% to $110,099, and the yield for 10-year US Treasuries was rising 4.4 basis points to 4%.

In corporate news, Blackstone (BX) shares fell 4.4% after it reported Q3 revenue of $3.09 billion, down from $3.66 billion a year ago and below the FactSet consensus of $3.11 billion.
