Namibia's Central Bank Cuts Repo Rate by 25bps to 6.50%

12:30 PM EDT, 10/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Namibia's central bank (BoN) Wednesday said its Monetary Policy Committee decided to reduce the Repo rate by 25 basis points to 6.50%.

The MPC took the rate decision to continue supporting the domestic economy while safeguarding the peg between the Namibia dollar (NAD)and the South African rand (ZAR), wrote BoN in its policy statement.
