01:13 PM EDT, 07/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Financial stocks were decreasing in Tuesday afternoon trading, with the NYSE Financial down 1.2% and the Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF) falling 1.4%.

The Philadelphia Housing Index was retreating 1.4%, and the Real Estate Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLRE) was shedding 1.5%.

Bitcoin (BTC-USD) was declining 2.1% to $117,350, and the yield for 10-year US Treasuries was up 5 basis points to 4.48%.

In corporate news, JPMorgan Chase (JPM) reported better-than-expected Q2 results as investment banking activity gained momentum amid improving market sentiment. JPMorgan (JPM) shares were down 0.9%.
