10:45 AM EDT, 07/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Initial jobless claims decreased by 5,000 to 227,000 in the week ended July 5, trimming the four-week moving average by 5,750 to 235,500.

Insured claims rose by 10,000 to 1.965 million in the week ended June 28.

Natural gas stocks increased by 53 billion cubic feet to 3.006 trillion cubic feet in the week ended July 4, down 5.8% from a year earlier and 6.1% higher than the seasonal average for the current week over the previous five years.
