Deutsche Bank Sees Mexico's Central Bank Terminal Rate at 6.75% by Q1 2026
BY MT Newswires | ECONOMIC | 07/08/25 09:07 AM EDT09:07 AM EDT, 07/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Mexico's central bank (Banxico) delivered a 50bps cut in its June decision, but modified the forward guidance, leaving it more "ambiguous," said Deutsche Bank.
The bank envisions 25bp cuts in August and September, followed
by a pause in November and subsequent 25bps cuts in lockstep with the United States Federal Reserve.
This path would result in a policy rate of 7.25% by year-end
and a terminal level of 6.75% by March 2026, stated Deutsche Bank.
