Dallas Fed Services Index Indicates Slower Contraction in June
BY MT Newswires | ECONOMIC | 07/01/25 10:40 AM EDT10:40 AM EDT, 07/01/2025 (MT Newswires) -- The Dallas Federal Reserve's monthly general business services index rose to a reading of minus 4.4 in June from minus 10.1 in May, indicating contraction.
There were gains in the readings for revenue, input prices, selling prices and capital expenditures, partly offset by declines in the readings for employment and wages.
The index is in line with most of the regional services readings already released but in contrast with the Kansas City Fed and the S&P Global Flash estimate which suggested expansion.
