10:55 AM EDT, 06/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Vizsla Silver's (VZLA) price target increased to C$6 from $5.75 while its Outperform rating remained unchanged at National Bank of Canada in a Thursday note entitled 'Step Change in Liquidity De-risks Development Financing'.

National Bank said it revised the price target after the company's NAVPS rose to $5.52 from $5.16, with a 1.10x NAVPS multiple (unchanged), following the closing of its C$136 million deal financing. The bank has updated its model with the financing and its revised metal price forecasts.

National Bank said the offering improved Vizsla's liquidity and helped derisk financing, while providing more competitive footing for negotiating debt or other financing options for the Panuco project in Mexico.

The bank said a key objective for Vizsla in 2025 remains completing a feasibility study and advancing Panuco toward a construction decision through permitting and financing.

Vizsla's share price has dropped near 3% at last look Friday on the TSX.

In general the bond market is volatile, and fixed income securities carry interest rate risk. (As interest rates rise, bond prices usually fall, and vice versa. This effect is usually more pronounced for longer-term securities.) Fixed income securities also carry inflation risk and credit and default risks for both issuers and counterparties. Unlike individual bonds, most bond funds do not have a maturity date, so avoiding losses caused by price volatility by holding them until maturity is not possible.

Lower-quality debt securities generally offer higher yields, but also involve greater risk of default or price changes due to potential changes in the credit quality of the issuer. Any fixed income security sold or redeemed prior to maturity may be subject to loss.
