Whitecap Resources Up Near 1% As Raises $300 Through Senior Notes Financing

10:03 AM EDT, 06/19/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Whitecap Resources (SPGYF) on Thursday said it successfully closed the previously announced offering of $300 million of senior unsecured notes due June 19, 2028.

The company said the notes will bear interest at a fixed rate of 3.761% per annum. Net proceeds will be used to repay existing indebtedness and for general corporate purposes.

Whitecap Resources (SPGYF) added that these notes were assigned a rating of BBB, with a stable trend, by Morningstar DBRS.

Shares of the company were last seen up $0.09 at $9.615 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
