China's central bank pauses gold purchases for sixth straight month

BEIJING, Nov 7 (Reuters) - China's gold reserves stood at 72.8 million fine troy ounces at the end of October, unchanged for a sixth straight month, central bank data showed on Thursday.

The value of China's gold reserves increased to $199.06 billion at the end of last month from $191.47 billion at the end of September.
