Mexico places yen-denominated bonds worth an estimated $1.05 bln
BY Reuters | CORPORATE | 08/22/24 10:28 AM EDTMEXICO CITY, Aug 22 (Reuters) - The Mexican government has placed five new so-called Samurai bonds, yen-denominated debt instruments worth an estimated $1.05 billion, the Latin American country's finance ministry announced on Thursday.
In a statement, the ministry said the issuance was concluded on Wednesday, with the new bonds featuring maturities of between 3-20 years. (Reporting by Ana Isabel Martinez; Editing by Brendan O'Boyle)
